Project Proposal

The purpose of this assignment is to help you focus on and continue the semester project.

For this assignment:

Expand your preliminary proposal to include what type of project you have selected, that is, the research paper.

Introduction

1. Describe the semester research you will be doing for your research paper.
2. Describe the project objectives, and 
3. The main purpose of the project;
4. Describe the importance of the work to the field of information studies;
5. Provide a thesis statement or question that will provide the focus of the project.
6. Discuss the work that has been completed since you began the preliminary work. Has the topic or project changed? Have the resources changed? Explain.

Resource Review

1. Provide an overview of the related research articles and texts in the topic area you have selected;
2. Describe how the related research you have selected will inform your project.

Project Plan

1. Describe your overall progress thus far and your plans for completing the project?
