This article discusses advanced clinical care as a practice of the nursing profession by applying the four concepts. The nursing metaparadigm play a critical role in the advanced clinical care practice. The first concept, that is, the person requires that persons interact with one another. Person refers to the patients and their families, the care providers and the community (George, 2011). In advanced clinical practice, one needs to understand not only the patient but their families and the community that the patient comes from. It is essential that the persons know and appreciate the care they get, and the clinical officer must understand that they have independence in the options presented to them.

When it comes to the concept of health and in nursing, in advanced clinical practice, it is important for the advanced clinical officers to demonstrate competence in both. Apart from health, the nursing concept relates to both the art and science of nursing practice (George, 2011). It includes the nursing interventions and activities. In advanced clinical practice, the practitioners need to use their professional knowledge and skills in delivering both the direct and indirect care. Lastly, advanced clinical practitioners need to understand the environment and how it impacts on the care they offer patients.Nursing Metaparadigm Research Paper
To improve the patients health, nursing should enhance the sociocultural, physical, economic and the political environments. During physical nursing practice, an advanced clinical practitioner should manipulate the situation to aid in healing the patients (George, 2011). Further, they can utilize both their influences and skills to modify the environment, mainly the economic and the political.
