Domestic violence experienced by children affects them emotionally, psychologically and physically which leads to low self-esteem which impacts negatively on the children’s academics. Through these kinds of initiatives, children are taught conflict resolution mechanisms such as dialogue and discouraged from adopting violence to solve violence.
