The rationale for the Career Research Project is to allow you the opportunity for career
research. This research may be in the form of internet research, interviews,
data/pamphlet collection and observation. You will need to create two (2) career plans
on the top two related careers of your choice. The career you choose for plan A is your
first choice. The career for plan B is your second choice, in case Plan A is
unsuccessful.
On page two you will find a checklist of all of the items/criteria you need to include in
your career portfolio. To receive full marks for this project, ensure that each item is fully
researched and accounted for in your portfolio. Place a checkmark (√) in the box when
the item has been researched and included in your portfolio. Make sure that this
checklist appears as the first page of your portfolio.
Your project must be typed and submitted at beginning of class on due date as posted
on Blackboard. Include the following information on the cover page and staple all items
together Title for your report, course name, course code, your full name, student
number, your course day and time.
